Disneyland is probably one of the best-est places in Hong Kong! Went there two years ago and thought that it would be my first and last visit (since travelling to another country is quite expensive). I’ve always wanted to go back ever since.
Little did I know that I would be going back there this year and the best part is, it’s FOR FREE*!
We stayed at Disneyland’s Hollywood Hotel.
I’m wearing shorts even if it’s cold outside. Brrrrr!
It’s so cold, no one’s using the Piano Pool!
Cozy room interiors. Awesome room service, too!
My family and I went to Disneyland around early noon, had a quick brunch, took photos and checked the areas (especially the shops).
I really like Disney’s style of drawing their characters.
Inside the Art of Animation
Awesome DRAWINGS, Concept Art, Initial Sketches. Very inspiring and educational!
A Limited Edition Disneyland Watch! I WANT!
Bought this Mickey Mouse watch instead for 150 HKD (₱850+). The unique shape and design catches my attention.
We went straight to the parade after eating lunch.
First ride: Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, located at the HK exclusive Grizzly Gulch.
Grizzly Gulch is a Western-inspired park, one of Disneyland’s newest attractions.
Rode it three times in a row since the line wasn’t that long (well, on the first two)
Then we watched the very awesome Lion King show.
Since then, I’ve been singing “Can’t Wait to Be King” during the whole trip.
This is my first time to watch “The Golden Mickey”. We missed it back then.
*CLAP *CLAP *CLAP
Disneyland is so huge, I don’t think we’ve explored everything.
Photo taken while riding Toy Story Land’s Parachute Drop!
And how can you not miss this Giant Pixar Ball inside Toy Story Land? In case you don’t recognise it, this ball appears in most Disney/Pixar films!
Bought a Woody doll from Andy’s Toybox.
Then we ran to Mystic Manor inside Mystic Point, another Hong Kong exclusive, before going to Aurora’s Castle for the fireworks show.
The ride is filled with really awesome visual effects. I haven’t seen anything like it. Very entertaining! It’s a must try!
(Mystic Point and Mystic Manor photos are grabbed from the internet)
On weekdays, Disneyland closes at 9pm and on weekends, they close an hour later.
I really enjoyed my trip to Disneyland Hongkong. Hindi na bitin like the last time I’ve been there. Hot-Diggity-Dog! You should never skip it when you plan to travel to HK.
* This trip was actually a prize won by my brother who joined a photography contest.
A few months ago, I made an animated teaser for an upcoming Sitcom of ABSCBN. Try guessing the actors!
Drawing the female lead was quite easy because the actress that will be playing her has interesting/prominent features.
For the guy, it took me a few more revisions to finally get his face right.
The final artwork features smaller bodies

And in case you still have no clue who they are, here’s an unaired TVC revealing the actors.
*this is just a sample post to test my new layout. :D
